I've only been blogging since March of this year, and have been less than rhythmic in my posting, rather taking a more "I'll do it how and when I want to" sort of approach, sometimes leaving a week or two (or three) in between posts. However, thanks to you guys my stats have been pretty gratifying regardless of my beginner's flaws and Fashionbosca is nearing the 1000 views mark, with just three months of novice blogging in the bag! Every page view, every follower, and every lovely comment makes me more confident to use Fashionbosca how it was always intended/wanted - as a way of channelling and recording my ever-changing creative notions, my judgements on style and fashion as I see it then and there, and also to communicate frequently with an audience about things I love to write about as a means of setting myself up to move into the editorial world of fashion. So, I started thinking of something I could do to mark my first milestone of 1000 views, something that mirrors the boost that my readers comments give me, and I thought why not start doing outfit posts? Fashion and personal style is meant to be fun, and if I am to use Fashionbosca for the reason it was created then I suppose recording the enjoyment I get from styling, bringing home new pieces and collaborating them with my old faithfuls seems like a natural step forward. So with the addition of a new Canon DSLR to my accessories box, Fashionbosca is about to get personal, and I hope it doesn't disappoint :) x

Most of you reading this are already interested in (or if you are anything like me - obsessed with) the whole blogging world, and we all have our favourite, daily check-ins (I hope fashionbosca up there on the list for some of you!) that make us giddy to see their newest post. I've whittled down my long list of faves to these three - Julie Sarinana of sincerelyjules.com, Chiara Ferragni of theblondesalad.com and of course Rumi Neely (sorry for misspelling in collage!) of fashiontoast.com. I'm always looking for new bloggers with an inspiring sense of style to follow, so if you have any suggestions that you think I should check out based on my love for these three fashionistas, please leave a comment. Maybe your blog will be in my next top three! :)

Maybe it's because it has done nothing but pour for the last week or so, even chucking down huge golf balls of hail stones today and yesterday, but I strongly believe that boots have great staying power the whole year through, (also may have something to do with the overload of black). They look just as good with bare legs as they do with tights or trousers, and I think this past year has given us some really awesome examples to choose from, don't you?

Starring real life couple Devendra Banhart and Rebecca Schwartz, the premise of the Oliver Peoples 2011 campaign is an exploration of authentic intimacy and sexuality. The love affair is explored in the one-of-a-kind masterpiece by architect John Lautner: Rainbow House. The contemporary California setting proved to be a perfect atmosphere to showcase the natural chemistry of the young, intriguing couple. Produced with acclaimed photographer and aspiring director Lisa Eisner, the short film will debut in early 2011 on the Oliver Peoples website.
Such a beautiful video. I've watched it about 7 consecutive times now, and each time I feel even more inspired then the previous. The brunette, Rebecca Schwartz, is so gorgeous to watch and something about her whole exterior, face and body, is mesmerizing to me. I came across this campaign whilst looking for the perfect optical frame (I officially need glasses...oh well, just another reason to accessorize I guess) and I think I may have found just that, perched on her perfect face. She is wearing them at 3.13, and various other instants. What do you think? :)
P.S I never suited liquid eyeliner, but I may give it just one more test drive after this video... :)
LOVE: I've wanted to introduce a pop of a bright, block colour to the shoe department of my wardrobe for a while now without going too hard on my bank balance. Zara, Kurt Geiger and Carvela had some nice contenders, but I fell in love with these super-high, coral "Sakura" platforms from Topshop. I love the shape and of course the colour. Can't wait for them to arrive so I can get experimenting!
